Praise & Worship

There are many events ongoing in the life of our church. The events listed here occur regularly. For up to date information on all activities, see the Events Calendar. Unless otherwise noted, all events meet at the church. The church office is open Tues, Weds, Thurs, 1:00 to 5:00 pm, and by appointment.

In-Sanctuary Worship Schedule

We gather together for in-person worship Sundays at 10:00 AM. We celebrate Holy Communion each Sunday. We welcome all without regard to gender, race, sexual orientation, economic or family status, ethnicity or mental or physical ability.

HOLY WEEK SCHEDULE

April 13th – Palm Sunday worship at 10 a.m. featuring the bell choir.
April 17th – Maundy Thursday joint worship service with Rhode Island Methodists at Shepherd of the Valley UMC, 604 Seven Mile Road, Hope, RI, at 7 pm. Bishop Cynthia Moore-Koikoi, preaching. (Livestream will be available).
April 18th – Good Friday. The NKUMC sanctuary will be open from 12-3 p.m. for prayer and contemplation.
April 20th – Easter Sunrise service at Town Beach at 5:45 a.m. followed by worship in the NKUMC sanctuary at 10:00 a.m. featuring Aaron Wade on the organ.

United Methodist Men/Men's Breakfast

United Methodist Men share breakfast and fellowship in the church Fellowship Hall the 2nd Saturday of month, 8-9am. Open to men and boys of all ages. Contact the office or click here for more information.

Administrative Council

The Admin Council, the governing body of the church, meets the 3rd Wednesday of the month, 7-9pm. Any church member is welcome to attend. Contact Admin Council Chair for more information.

Staff Parish Relations Committee

The SPRC meets the 2nd Wednesday of the month. If you have issue concerning any of the church paid staff you wish to bring before the SPRC, contact Staff Parish Relations Chair.

Finance Committee

The Finance Committee exercises fiscal oversight of the church financial accounts. They meet the 2nd Thursday of the month. Contact Finance Committee Chair for more details.

Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees are responsible for the church property. They meet the 1st Wednesday of the month. For more information, contact Trustee Chair.
